Privacy and Security Policy
This English translation is provided for convenience only; the Turkish version is binding. At Mell & Swipe, we are committed to keeping the information you share on the Site private and your payments secure. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Information we collect
We collect the name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address you give in the sign-up, order, quote and contact forms, and for corporate customers the company and tax details. We also keep IP address, browser and cookie records of how the Site is used.
How your personal data is processed is explained in the KVKK Privacy Notice, and cookies in the Cookie Policy.
2. How we use it
Your information is used to take, prepare, deliver and invoice your order, to answer your requests and complaints, and to meet our legal obligations. If you consent, we let you know about campaigns and news.
Your information is not used for any other purpose, and is never sold or rented to third parties.
3. Payment security
The whole Site is encrypted with an SSL (TLS) certificate; everything between your browser and the Site travels over an encrypted connection.
Card payments go through our partner bank's virtual POS with 3D Secure: you confirm the payment with a one-time code your bank sends to your mobile phone.
Your card number, expiry date and security code go from your browser straight to the bank; they never reach our servers and we do not store them.
4. Information security
Account passwords are stored in a form that cannot be reversed (hashed); no one, including our staff, can see your password.
Only staff authorized for their role can access personal data.
The IT, shipping and payment providers we work with are bound by confidentiality.
5. Sharing information
Your information is shared only as far as needed: with the shipping company to deliver your order, with banks and payment institutions to take the payment, with our IT suppliers, and with public authorities legally entitled to it.
Other websites linked from the Site are responsible for their own privacy practices.
6. Commercial electronic messages
Campaign and newsletter emails are sent only with your consent (Law No. 6563). You can withdraw it at any time with the link in each message or by writing to us.
