This English translation is provided for convenience only; the Turkish version is legally binding. This policy explains how the Mell & Swipe website uses cookies and similar technologies (the browser's local storage). We use cookies other than strictly necessary ones only with your explicit consent.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that a website you visit saves in your browser. When you visit the site again, your browser sends them back, so your cart, your session and your preferences are remembered. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) for the same purposes; "cookie" in this policy covers these technologies too.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

Required for the site to work and cannot be turned off. They rely on the formation and performance of a contract and our legitimate interest under KVKK Art. 5/2.

  • _medusa_cart_id: Remembers your cart (30 days).

  • _medusa_jwt: Keeps you signed in to your account (1 day).

  • lang_choice: Remembers the language you chose in the menu (1 year).

  • mkt_consent: Stores your cookie preferences (6 months).

  • ms.fav, ms.pz.*: Keeps your favorites and personalization drafts in your browser (until you delete them).

  • ms.viewed.*, ms-preloader-seen, mkt:outbox: Counts a product view once per session, shows the opening animation once and carries the checkout steps to the next page (deleted when the tab closes).

  • mkt:purchased: Keeps your order from being measured twice (until you delete it).

3. Functional cookies

Used with your explicit consent. They remember the products you viewed so we can suggest products for you; this stays in your browser.

  • ms.seen: Remembers the products you viewed (until you delete it).

4. Analytics cookies

Used with your explicit consent. They let us measure visits, page views and how you use the site with statistics.

  • _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): Tell visitors apart and store the session state (2 years).

5. Marketing cookies

Used with your explicit consent. They let us measure the results of our ads and show you ads that match your interests. Cookies that ad networks set on their own domains are subject to that provider's cookie policy.

  • _gcl_au, _gcl_aw (Google Ads): Measure ad conversions (3 months).

  • _fbp, _fbc (Meta): Measure Meta ad conversions (3 months).

  • mkt_attr: Links the ad you came from (UTM, gclid, fbclid) to your order (3 months). If you reject marketing cookies, it is deleted and not written to the order.

6. Transfers abroad

Data collected by analytics and marketing cookies may be processed on servers abroad by our service providers Google and Meta. This transfer relies on the explicit consent you give for that category (KVKK Art. 9).

7. Managing your preferences

  • On your first visit, the banner lets you accept or reject all cookies, or choose categories one by one.

  • You can change your choice at any time with the Manage cookie preferences link; the cookies of a category you withdraw consent from are deleted.

  • You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, features such as the cart and your account may not work.
