KVKK Privacy Notice

This English translation is provided for convenience only; the Turkish version is legally binding. At Mell & Swipe, we care about the security of your personal data. This notice explains how your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity data: first name, last name.

  • Contact data: email address, phone number, delivery and billing address.

  • Customer transaction data: order, quote and request records, personalization preferences.

  • For corporate customers: company name, tax office and tax number.

  • Transaction security data: IP address, session and cookie records.

  • Marketing data: newsletter and campaign preferences, if you give your consent.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Receiving and fulfilling order, quote and personalization requests.

  • Handling delivery, invoicing and after-sales support.

  • Responding to your requests and complaints.

  • Fulfilling our legal obligations and providing information to authorized authorities.

  • Keeping you informed about campaigns and new products, if you give your explicit consent.

4. Collection method and legal basis

Your personal data is collected electronically through the forms on our website, by email, by phone and via WhatsApp.

Under Article 5(2) of the KVKK, your data is processed on the grounds of the establishment and performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interests; for marketing activities, it is processed on the basis of your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to shipping and logistics companies, payment institutions, the IT service providers we work with, and public authorities authorized by law, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the Company to:

  • Find out whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,

  • Find out the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose,

  • Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,

  • Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and, where the legal conditions are met, its erasure or destruction,

  • Request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom your data was transferred,

  • Object to any outcome against you that results from analysis carried out solely by automated systems,

  • Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing
